Melisa Kratky here, beauty expert and certified make-up artist. I was born and raised in Chicago and moved to the Bay Area in 2017. Ever since I was little I dreamed of being a makeup artist. I was the girl doing all my friends makeup for high school dances, parties, and nights out on the town. But confidence was hard for me. I never went to school for makeup. I started my career in Chicago in 2005 working for Estee Lauder at a Nordstrom. I was with Estee Lauder for about eight years. And what a amazing company to work for. They trained me and taught me every step of the way.

Once I got married and started my family work took a pause. I decided to free lance and Bridal and special events has been my focus for years.

I still do special occasions but I really enjoy teaching others how to apply makeup, what products they should be using, and how to make everyday makeup simple and not over whelming. Let’s be honest Sephora, Ulta, or department stores can be pretty intimidating! As to why I wanted to create a fun, insightful, and inspiring space for anyone to come and learn.

I love making my clients look and feel beautiful and confident for whatever occasion they are attending. I believe makeup is an art but it is also a way to enhance anyones natural beauty! I stand behind only using ethical and cruelty free products! Clean beauty is very important to me and I try to incorporate as much clean products as I can.

Despite 15 years of experience in the make-up industry, I continue to learn and grow as a make-up artist.  In doing so, my clients can be assured that I will utilize the best and latest techniques and products so each of you receives a unique and individual experience.
